Help CSC by donating your vehicle!
Have an “old hunk ‘o’ junk” in the yard? We’ll take it!
CSC partners with Volunteers of America of Oregon to make this program possible. Volunteers of America of Oregon offers free towing, and you can write the vehicle off on your tax return. CSC receives 60% of the vehicles value, and the rest goes to cover costs of Volunteers of America.
You can give your vehicle by filling out this form.
If you wish to speak to a CSC staff member about vehicle donation, call 503-560-6178 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can make a difference.

CSC serves over 5,000 people in need each year.
With just a handful of staff, our volunteers are vital to providing our clients with a high level of service.
CSC relies on a robust team of volunteers to make and serve meals, pick up donated goods, cut hair, and connect our clients with crucial services. Over 300 people volunteer at CSC in any year.
How to Volunteer
You can find lots of information about volunteer roles and expectations in our volunteer handbook. Some of our popular (and needed!) regular volunteer positions include market volunteers, clothing room volunteers, cooks, servers, front desk volunteers, donation drivers, donation receiving volunteers, and shower monitors. We are most in need of volunteers who are able to commit to a regular shift, usually once a week or once a month. Most shifts are 2 to 5 hours long. All CSC volunteers complete a one-hour orientation. These orientations are held at least once a month. Additional training is required for some positions.
If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your area of interest and your times of availability, and we will get back to you as soon as possible with information about our next orientation dates. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
Organize a Drive
Our clients are always in need of non-perishable food items, clothing, bedding, and hygiene items. One great way to support CSC while involving your neighbors or community is by coordinating a drive. It’s also a great way to get your child’s school, your workplace, or your place of worship volunteering together. Download our drive flyer, and get started today!
